Since we started out in 1999, our mission has been to bring alive our passions and experience in the fields of construction, management, self and community development, and health and wellness.
John Farris has been working in the construction field for forty years from the bottom up, seeing every phase and process on countless projects in both residential and commercial construction. John takes pride in his work and puts his clients’ needs at the top of his priority list. Not only does John provide completed projects that owners and developers can be proud of, but all along the phases of construction, he puts himself in the shoes of those investing in the project and helps them make choices that will benefit them in the long term.
When John is not working on a project, he is spending time with his family on the home ranch. You will find him either hunting with his boys or teaching his youngest son Spencer how to work with his hands to build and create the same way he has done all these years.
For Amy it has always been family first, for this reason, she left her hotel management career of 10 years to stay home and raise the children. After the 3rd and final child joined the Farris crew and after 15 years total of being a stay-at-home mother, she began to find it difficult to make time for herself. Amy began taking Fitness classes in her 30s and fell in love. The joy these classes added to her life made the next step of beginning a fitness career a very natural and easy one. As a woman now in her mid 40’s, Amy understands the challenges that life presents and all the things that get in the way of people placing their health and wellness as a top priority. Helping people become aware of their value is Amy’s most important task at hand.
In addition to her fitness career, Amy helps her husband and JFC Companies co-owner with the many administrative tasks needed around the office to keep things running. Amy also homeschools her last child still in the home, Amy and John’s son Spencer. John has supported Amy through all of her career changes, and she has done the same for him, this will explain why they have combined all their ventures onto one webpage. They do have their hands and hearts in many different things, but doing life and business together is what makes work not feel like work, but a combination of their passions and support for one another.
